PYRA:MI[N]DS is a DIY (Do It Yourself) paper toy project created by ciah-ciah.

PYRA:MI[N]DS connects artists from all around the globe in paper toy customization.
Created designs are gathered in the series and exposed at www.pyraminds.net web page
enabling all interested people to print them out and build by themselves.

Right now there is a open call for submissions for Series 02 and BETA till March 31st.

You can find more information about the project at the PYRA:MI[N]DS flickr group page.
>>HERE<<.

1. What kind of paper should I use to print out the pyramid?

I guess the thicker one will be much better and easier to glue
(normally the paper from your printer is like 80grams, you might need
the 120-160 grams one).

2. How can I join both elements?

Any kind of approx. 9cm long "stick" will be good.

3. How should I assemble the printed series 01 pyramid?

You can check the step-by-step instructions >>HERE<<.

4. How should I assemble the printed series 02 pyramid?

You can check the step-by-step instructions >>HERE<<.

5. How can I open the template file?

You should open it with ease by Photoshop or Illustrator / Corel
you can also download Inkscape (it's free) from >>HERE<<

6. What kind of file I have to send you back to be a part of new series?

To print and assemble the designs I will need your pyramid done
and sent to me as ai (or other vector) file or hight quality jpg (300dpi
A4 should work just fine).

7. Can I participate with hand-made pyramid?

For sure! There are actually three ways of how can you do it:
1. You can draw over printed template, scan the design and send it to
me as a 300dpi A4 sized jpg.
2. You can send me a fully assembled pyramid so it could be included
at future shows and expos.
3. You can send me the photos of your pyramid to be placed in the
gallery section of the page.
